How to make... a bohemian summer outfit!

Summer is in full swing, and so is bohemian fashion. With gorgeous prints, accessories and outfits in all the colors under the sun, it comes to no surprise the boho style one of the most popular fashion statements to make! DressYourDoll jumps on the bandwagon with this absolutely stellar outfit.

Super stylish — super easy — super quick! What more could you wish for in an outfit? We combined a maxi skirt with a short shirt with a knot in the front. To accessorize we made a simple headband in the same fabric as the skirt, and a yellow belt from the Mix 'n Match Pink set. The fabric from the skirt is from the Summer Flowers fabric set, and the shirt fabric comes from the Pastel fabric set.

We used a skirt pattern from the Sari set and a shirt pattern with shorter sleeves from the Carry set! For instructions on how to make the shirt, go here!

Hello summer — sunshine — sewing!!

Let's dive right into making fashionable holiday couture, with this gorgeous wrap dress. Made from a single style of fabric (we opted for a blue and pink floral style from the Pastel set), it is simply perfect for your dolls to wear to the beach, a cozy picnic in the shade or even a shopping spree!

We adapted the Patsy-pattern to make an asymmetrical wrap dress with a slightly elongated back. Here you can see what the pattern looked like. A fully illustrated how-to for the Patsy pattern you can find here! 

We know it doesn't seem like it, but it's actually fairly easy to make! Just don't forget to leave a little gap on the left (circled in red!) so you can pull the strap through!
